2 Blocks with Separate Heating and Cooling Temperatures
To achieve useful functionality and reduce the footprint of the instruments, Combitherm-2 consists of 2 independent cooling and heating thermoblocks combined on a common electronic circuit board and in a common outer housing.
The 2 Blocks are independently regulated and up to 16 programs can be performed in each program, including temperature and time. Peltier technology is used for cooling below room temperature; PCB is used for heating up to +150°C.
Areas of Use:
- Enzyme Activity Tests: Frequently used in cell biology and molecular biology laboratories.Protein and DNA Studies: Samples may need to be heated in applications such as PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction).Chemical Reactions: Temperature-controlled heating is used to initiate or accelerate chemical reactions.

2x Ø48 mm Tubes / 10x Ø 16 mm Tubes / 6 x Ø25 mm Tubes / 23 x 1.5 ml microtubes / 10 x Ø 13 mm tubes / 5 x Ø 25 mm tubes

Other Devices
The left side of the instrument is responsible for setting the parameters for the cooling blocks, while the right side is responsible for setting the parameters for the heating blocks.
Separating the cooling and heating parts increases the durability of the instrument and the speed of temperature change after setting a new program.
