The built-in gel-start module eliminates time-consuming transfer of glass plates during casting.
Glass plates with permanently bonded spacers ensure perfect spacer alignment. The glass plate sandwich is simply placed between the pressure bars and closed using the easy-to-use Sliding Doors or the WAVE Maxi Clamp system.
This ensures fast setup times, while the even pressure bars and ultra-soft seals ensure leak-free casting.
Once the gel has polymerized, the gel-start module is simply placed in the gel tank for electrophoresis.
