Probe Synthesis

DNA probes are used in situ techniques by hybridizing with DNA or RNA sequences to find out if the target sequence is present. This hybridization can be observed by the fluorescent markings on the probes. In medicine, this method is used for the determination of microorganisms and for the detection of infectious, genetic and other diseases.

Sentebiolab delivers the DNA probes that it has synthesized for you, which you can use in molecular biology studies, to you after passing them through quality control tests. All probes are purified by HPLC method and delivered with the purification report.

The DNA probes produced are as follows:

  • FAM-BHQ1
  • FAM-TAMRA
  • HEX-BHQ1
  • JOE-BHQ1
